“Daily Chores” Gicleé Prints

“Daily Chores” is a painting that tells a story of a 19th century woman who, rain or shine contributes to the day to day workings of a family dairy farm. Working her way through wet mud and muck, she doesn’t complain, however she is clearly working hard as is evidence by her face. I enjoyed piecing this concept together to include the stormy skies, thick mud and hopefully a sense of weary combined with inner strength.
