“Double Parked” Gicleé Prints

“Double Parked” is a painting that tells a story of two horses standing in the pouring rain, as their owners have thrown their slickers over their saddles to keep them dry and headed inside to warm up. I actually got to witness the events that led to this painting. It only made sense for the scene to be depicted in the Old West. It’s my hope the viewer of this painting can smell the rain and wet horses and feel the muddy ground beneath their feet as the rain pours down. Of all the paintings I have done, this was one of my most satisfying to have completed.
