“Muddy Creek Crossing” – When I think about what a Sioux warrior on an Appaloosa might have looked like, this is the kind of image that comes to mind. Of course it’s always fun as an artist to put your subject in an incredible setting as well. This painting was fun to compose. From the foggy forested background, the splashes, the water and the thick texture of the mud. I always hope that when all of the elements are combined, the puzzle comes together and reads the way I envisioned it.
